How We See If We Can Help You.

When you seek care at Alpha Spine Center, we will screen you to see if you have any spinal dysfunction caused by a misalignment of your head and neck (your upper cervical spine). We are especially looking to see if there is any pressure on your brain stem. Misalignment and pressure here can cause all kinds of pain and ill health and force your body and nervous system to operate out of its natural balance.

We will look gently and carefully to see if you have any obvious signs of imbalance, including poor posture, muscle tension, muscle soreness, or misaligned legs. If you show symptoms of imbalance, we will conduct a thorough and precise evaluation using the latest technological tools. With noninvasive scanning techniques, we will look at your nerve function and see if there is pressure on your brain stem.

If you do not show signs of pressure on your brain stem, we will help you find another caregiver who can treat your condition. If you do show signs of pressure on your brain stem, we will take digital x-rays of your spine and analyze them to see the amount of spinal dysfunction you have and to calculate how to correct it back to a normal position.

We will review our analysis with you and specifically go over your condition. We will answer all of your questions and help you understand the gentle and precise NUCCA correction that will bring your spine, body, and nervous system back into balance.

After making the adjustment, we will take more x-rays and carefully measure to see if your head and neck are in proper alignment. We measure three-dimensionally down to millimeters and degrees and give you visual evidence of the correction we made using this data. There is never any guessing as to whether your adjustment worked.

How We Measure Your Injury And Pain.

We use only noninvasive tools and technology to provide our gentle, proven care. These technological tools, along with precise three-dimensional mathematical measurements, allow us to measure your injury and pain without ever adding to it.

We use these technological tools to measure any misalignment of your upper cervical spine and to detect your nerve function and see if there is any pressure on your brain stem. We also use them to measure your correction and show you the exact degree to which it is working to balance your body.

DIGITAL X-RAYS FOR YOUR SPINE

Our digital x-rays capture crystal clear images of your spine, so that we can measure exactly what, if any, corrections need to be made.

THERMOGRAPHY FOR YOUR NERVES

Thermography noninvasively detects stagnating capillary blood flow by your spine and lets us see if you have nerve-related problems.

sEMG FOR YOUR MUSCLES

Static surface electromyography (sEMG) quantifies abnormal electrophysiological activity and lets us see if you have muscle injury.

DynaROM™ SYSTEM

Our DynaROM™ measures muscle activity and range of motion, proving the presence or absence of injury with visual evidence and data.
