What Is NUCCA Care?
NUCCA is an acronym used by the highly trained and certified doctors of the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association. NUCCA care gently and precisely corrects misalignment of your head and neck (your upper cervical spine). Misalignment at this crucial structural point can put pressure on your brain stem and force your spine, pelvis, body, and nervous system to operate out of its natural balance.
The goal of our NUCCA care is to relieve your nerve pressure, reduce your pain, and sustainably balance your body. Unlike traditional chiropractic, there is no cracking, twisting, or popping involved.

In 2018, Dr. Bryan Salminen was named one of Atlanta’s top chiropractors by Atlanta Magazine. He will be in charge of all your care at Alpha Spine Center.
Dr. Salminen received his doctorate of chiropractic from Life University, with honors, in 1999. He has been a certified member of the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association (NUCCA) since 1999 as well. He lectures nationally and internationally on spinal rehabilitation and increased nerve function, 3D x-ray techniques and analysis, spinal biomechanics, and before-and-after MRI studies of spinal disc degeneration.
Dr. Salminen instructs doctors around the nation in basic and advanced techniques of NUCCA care. He has clinical experience in spinal rehabilitation and nerve pressure reduction, which helps a variety of systemic health conditions. He also has clinical experience in the rehabilitation of shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, and feet.
