Here is what to expect on your first visit to Alpha Spine Center. Your first visit to see us will take about two hours to complete.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON...

Your First Visit With Us.

1. Entrance Paperwork

We will need you to complete a bit of entrance paperwork before we meet, so that we can assess your problem. We will send you our online patient information form when you call in to schedule your first appointment.

2. Free Consultation

You will have a free consultation with Dr. Salminen. He will talk with you and determine if NUCCA care is right for you. If NUCCA care is not right for you, Dr. Salminen will recommend trusted practitioners better suited to your needs.

3. Thorough Exam

We will do a thorough examination of your spine to check for any misalignment and to see if there is any pressure on your brain stem. We will look at your posture, nerve function, muscle tension, muscle soreness, reflexes, and leg length.

4. X-Rays

If we find any misalignment and pressure, we will take x-rays before making an adjustment, to determine the exact degree and measurement of your spinal misalignment. Getting precise information is vital to correcting the misalignment.

5. Thorough Report

Once we analyze your x-rays, we will go over our findings with you. We will show you what we found, educate you on your spinal misalignment and nerve pressure, and thoroughly go over the NUCCA care procedure that can correct it.

6. NUCCA Adjustment

After informing you about your spinal misalignment and nerve pressure, we will adjust your spine using the NUCCA care procedure. Then we will take another set of x-rays, right after the adjustment, to verify the correction made on your spine.

7. Follow-Up Visit

Once the correction is complete, we will schedule a follow-up visit with you for three days later. On this follow-up visit, we will check and evaluate the correction, review a treatment plan with you, and verify that you are progressing.
