  • Get the patient’s height, weight, blood pressure and grip strength.
    • Blood Pressure:
      • Ensure that the patient is seated on table with their legs uncrossed, with good posture, looking forward.
      • Loosen the cuff and bring the left arm through until the cuff sits right above the elbow.
      • Tighten the Velcro of the cuff, ensuring that the coff could fit your index finger snug.
      • Power on while the patients arm is relaxed, palm up on their thigh.
      • Enter the blood pressure value that was gathered in to the excel spreadsheet.
    • Grip Strength
      • Take the Hydraulic Hand Dynamometer facing out. Instruct the patient on how to use the device by givning them a visual.
      • They will keep both arms to their side at a 90 degree angle.
      • They will, with one hand at a time, squeeze the device with as much force as they can gradually, not with a jolt of pressure. The patient will continue to squeeze until instructed to stop by the technician.
      • You will gather the number that the dial lands on and enter it into the Excel sheet. Then do the opposite hand.
      • If the difference of value is higher than 5, it needs to be reported to the Doctor.
  • Ask patient to stand facing large monitor.
  • Begin Thermal scan, complete and save.
  • Cleanse patient’s back and sEMG sensor with alcohol.
  • Then place sensor as instructed by the monitor (C1-S1) and save test.
  • Complete the ROM test – follow prompts, complete and save.
  • AUTO ACCIDENT ONLY: Perform the DynaRom Test. The traditional ROM test does not have to be completed for an auto accident.
  • Pull up previous scans and place new scans side by side for Dr to review. (Old/Left, New/Right)
  • Alert Doctor that patient is ready in exam and flag room
